Many people talk in their sleep without realizing it, until someone from their environment tells them so. It is considered a harmless phenomenon and most often occurs as a result of stress. Scientists conducted an interesting study on what is the most common word people say while talking in their sleep.

Most of the words spoken during sleep are negative and even quite vulgar, according to a French study published in the journal "Sleep".

On a website called Sleep Talk Recorder, people have uploaded recordings of what they say while they sleep. Almost 10 percent of the recordings contained profanity. But one word that surpasses the others is the word "no". /CNA.al
