"The reason this happens is that you're overstimulating the sebaceous gland, which means you're producing more oil than you should," says Antonio Juarez, a hair stylist at Fabio Scalia Salons in New York City. "What you can do instead is shampoo twice a week, when your hair gets greasy," says Juarez.
