Barry the dinosaur skeleton to be sold in Paris

A nearly complete dinosaur skeleton will be sold at an auction in Paris next month.

This skeleton, believed to be 150 million years old, was discovered in 1990 in Wyoming, United States.

It is named Barry, after Barry James, the paleontologist who discovered it.

Experts believe that the skeleton is "extremely well" preserved.

It is expected to sell for 1.2 million euros at the October 20 auction at the Hotel Drouot.

Barry is believed to have been 2.1 meters tall.

Alexandre Giquello, of the auction house, said it was unusual to see such an intact dinosaur skeleton.

"The skull is 90 percent complete and the rest of the dinosaur is 80 percent complete," he said.
