During yesterday evening, the suspected author of this event and his accomplice were arrested.

Following the actions carried out to clarify the event, as well as based on the evidence collected from the original investigative work, the services of the Elbasan Police Station, in cooperation with the Section of the Operational Force in the DVP Elbasan, within the coded police operation "The end", the suspected author of the event of August 17, where the 33-year-old MU was shot dead, was arrested

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni, si rezultat i kontrolleve të shumta të zhvilluara nga Policia e Elbasanit, si dhe i negocimeve me familjarët, u bë e mundur vënia në pranga e shtetasve H. P., 18 vjeç dhe K. S., 33 vjeç, pasi Gjykata e Shkallës së Parë Elbasan ka vendosur masën e sigurisë “Arrest në burg”, për këta shtetas, për veprat penale “Vrasja me dashje”, kryer në bashkëpunim dhe “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”.

Nga tërësia e veprimeve hetimore ka rezultuar se këta shtetas, në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin, dyshohet se kanë vrarë, për motive të dobëta, me armë zjarri, shtetasin M. U., mbrëmjen e datës 17.08.2022.

As material evidence, the Police seized the firearm, a pistol with a comb with 6 cartridges in it, which were found after intensive searches by the services, in the Shkumbin river bed.

The investigative materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA.al
