The first details emerge from the incident in Fier, where a detainee died on the way to the hospital.

It is learned that 28-year-old O. Kastrioti, a resident of Tirana, felt bad in the cell. He went to the hospital, but he arrived there without signs of life.

From preliminary information, it is suspected that the young man may have died as a result of a heart attack.

Kastrioti had been arrested and was in custody for the criminal offense of "Removing a prisoner from his place of stay", after breaking the "house arrest" measure.
