Journalist Artan Hoxha spoke about the assassination attempt that occurred in Rinas, emphasizing that currently in Tirana the situation between criminal groups is in a "status quo" phase, while the capital, according to him, can never be controlled by a single organization without alliances.

According to Hoxha, Tirana is the crown of all control and no criminal group has the capacity to dominate it alone.

He said that the assassination in Rinas constitutes an exception with a clear message.

Hoxha said that the execution that occurred in the airport area was suspected to have been carried out because the victim, identified as Dani, was considered a danger to rival groups.

"That's why the assassination was carried out there, to send a message to those in prison and those outside: 'wait, we're here,'" the journalist declared.

He added that Dani had a great reputation in the criminal world and was known as a very trustworthy person in the contacts he made, which may have influenced the perpetrators' decision to eliminate him.

"At this moment we have a status quo. How long have the events in Tirana been going on? Tirana is the crown of all control. The capital is never controlled alone, it needs an alliance. Tirana is too big to control it alone. Currently, there are no such murders in the city, the murder in Rinas was done because Dani could be a danger. That is why the assassination was done there to give a message to those in prison and those outside "wait, we are here". That is why Dani had a great reputation.
