A bar used for organizing gambling has been discovered in the town of Bilisht in Korça. According to police information, the bar's administrator and manager, who was illegally employed, have been arrested.

Meanwhile, two citizens who were caught playing games of chance on the premises of the bar have also been criminally prosecuted.

Electronic equipment used for this activity and several tickets were found and seized in the bar, which were seized as material evidence.

As a result of the control carried out based on information obtained through operational channels, the services of the Devoll Police Commissariat have discovered a premises in the city of Bilisht, where games of chance were organized. Following the procedural actions in this case, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

-PM, 45 years old, resident of Bilisht, the administrator of the premises, for the criminal offenses of "Organizing or conducting gambling activities in violation of the law", "Making premises available for gambling", "Hiding income" and "Illegal employment";

-EM, 26 years old, resident of Bilisht, manager of the premises, for the criminal offenses of "Organizing or conducting gambling activities in violation of the law", "Making premises available for gambling" and "Hiding income".

Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against EU citizens, 25 years old, and FM, 23 years old, residents of Bilisht, who were caught in a bar playing games of chance.

The investigation revealed that the 45-year-old had rented the premises and illegally employed citizen EM as a manager. In the premises, which was adapted for illegal gambling activities, electronic equipment used for this activity and several tickets were found, which were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
