Packages of aid donated by citizens were stolen/ 4 employees of the municipality

Based on a video published yesterday evening on social networks, in which Pogradec municipality employees were seen stealing packages of aid donated by foreign donors to the Pogradec community, the Crime Investigation specialists at the Pogradec Police Station immediately began their actions for the verification of the case and for the identification of the responsible persons. From the collected evidence and from the further investigations carried out, it became possible to fully document this event. As a result, the following citizens were arrested in the act:

- RF, 58 years old, resident in the village of Çërravë, Pogradec;

- RM, 58 years old, resident in Pogradec;

- B. Xh., 35 years old, resident of Hudënisht, Pogradec;

- MM, 35 years old, resident of ?ervenakë village, Pogradec.

These citizens, working as employees of the Pogradec municipality, in cooperation with each other, in the premises of the sports palace, in the city of Pogradec, stole several aid packages, donated by foreign donors, for the community of this municipality. As material evidence, the packages with the stolen items and an "Audi" type vehicle, in which they were to be transported, were seized.
