A 21-year-old wanted for possession of weapons without a permit was arrested in Saranda.

The 21-year-old was located by the police near the "Dinamo" stadium.

Police Notice: 

"The police operation coded "Around" by the Section for Special Operations at DVP Tirana is finalized.

A citizen wanted for possession of weapons without a permit was captured and arrested.

The services of the Section for Special Operations in DVP Tirana, following the work for locating, capturing and bringing before the criminal responsibility of the citizens declared wanted, based on the information provided on the operative route, for the location of a citizen declared wanted for possession of weapons without permission, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Around".

As a result of this operation, in the vicinity of the "Dinamo" stadium, citizen A. Ll., 21 years old, resident of Saranda, was located and arrested.

This citizen was declared wanted after the Court of Appeal of the General Jurisdiction assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided by article 278/ 1 of the Criminal Code.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office." /CNA
