A woman allegedly threw herself into the Vjosë river at around 2:15 p.m. today, at the entrance to the city of Përmet.

It is about the citizen with the initials FD, about 75 years old.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene, which in cooperation with the citizens, made it possible to extract this citizen from the waters of the river.

The FD citizen was transported to the hospital to receive medical assistance and is out of danger.
