A serious incident was recorded this evening in the village of Podgorie in Maliqi.

Blue informs that a gas cylinder exploded and as a result the citizen with the initials F.Gj., about 60 years old, received burns.

The police report that the woman who suffered burns was presented to the Pogradec Hospital around 21:00, while she is now under the care of doctors.

"On 10.07.2022, around 21:00, we were informed that the citizen F. Gj., about 60 years old, resident in the village of Podgorie, Maliq, went to the Pogradec Hospital with burns, which are suspected to be caused as a result of the explosion of a gas cylinder in her apartment.

Currently, this citizen is under the care of doctors", the police announcement states.

Meanwhile, the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances and causes of the event./ BA - CNA.al
