2 citizens were arrested, 8 illegal immigrants were taken by car

The Himara Police in cooperation with the Dhërmi Border Police and the Traffic Investigation Section at the Vlorë DVP have arrested 2 citizens who took 8 illegal immigrants in their car.

Citizens VH, 21 years old, and K. Xh., 28 years old, both residents of Himare, are accused of the criminal offense of "Aiding illegal border crossing", committed in cooperation.

Morën me automjet, 8 emigrantë të paligjshëm nga vendet MENA, me qëllim transportimin e tyre drejt Tiranës, kundrejt fitimit, vihen në pranga 2 shtetas.

Komisariati i Policisë Himarë, në bashkëpunim me Policinë Kufitare Dhërmi dhe specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme në DVP Vlorë, në vijim të punës për goditjen e aktivitetit kriminal të dhënies ndihmë shtetasve të huaj, për kalim të paligjshëm të kufirit, kundrejt fitimit, në bazë të informacioneve të siguruara në rrugë operative, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar me sukses operacionin policor të koduar "Kudhësi", si rezultat i të cilit u arrestuan në flagrancë shtetasit:

These two citizens, in cooperation with each other, have taken 8 illegal immigrants in a vehicle on the Kuç-Qeparo road axis, with the aim of transporting them to Tirana, against profit. After escorting the immigrants a short distance, they took them out of the vehicle, to avoid the control of the Police services, who immediately made it possible to arrest and handcuff these two citizens.

As material evidence, the vehicle and 4 mobile devices were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlora, for further action. /CNA.al
