"Rrugorja" takes stock of the month of May/ "Kërcasin"

The Shkodra Road Police has carried out the work balance for the month of May, noting that 4 drivers were arrested in the act and 16 others were criminally prosecuted for the criminal offenses of "Driving vehicles in an irregular manner" and "Violation of the rules" of road traffic".

Also, using smart tools during this month, 3,433 administrative measures were implemented, specifically divided into:

-730 for wrong passings;

-97 for using a mobile phone while driving;

-42 for driving after consuming alcoholic beverages;

-176 for not wearing seat belts by vehicle drivers;

-227 for not wearing a protective helmet by motor vehicle drivers;

-869 for wrong parking;

-16 for lack of insurance policy;

-29 for tinted windows;

-1247 for various violations of the Traffic Code. 

Increased controls by the police will continue, on all urban, interurban and rural road axes, as well as using all modern logistical tools, with the aim of increasing road safety parameters.
