Police important notice to citizens/ Tomorrow the system will be interrupted at the border points with Greece

The police has come out with an important announcement for citizens who have planned to travel to Greece tomorrow and for those who want to come from the neighboring country to Albania.

The Blues announce that from 09:00 to 18:00 on 07.03.2023, at the border crossing points on the Greek side, because they will carry out work on the data processing system, in order to install the system of new SIS, there will be delays and occasional work interruptions.

Only Greek citizens and citizens who have a residence permit in Greece will not have obstacles to cross.

In order not to create queues, long waits and confusion at the border crossing points, the police ask for the understanding of citizens and vehicle drivers to avoid moving towards the border crossing points with Greece, between 09:00 and 18:00. dated 07.03.2023./ CNA.al
