Elderly woman killed in car crash/20-year-old driver arrested

Elbasan Police have provided additional information regarding yesterday's accident in Belsh where a 73-year-old woman lost her life.

In the announcement made, the police announced that following the actions, the 20-year-old driver was arrested, who is accused of driving while intoxicated.

The 20-year-old's mother, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was also injured in yesterday's accident.

Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding the accident that occurred in Rrenas, Belsh, as a result of which the citizen Rr. T. lost her life, we inform that following the procedural actions, the Road Traffic specialists arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Driving vehicles in an irregular manner", resulting in death, the driver of the vehicle, citizen KI, 20 years old, resident of Belsh. The passenger in the vehicle of citizen KI, his mother, was also injured in this accident, and her life is out of danger.
