Tractor overturns in Chieti, Italy/31-year-old Albanian dies

A serious accident occurred this Monday, around 11:00, in Gessopalena in the province of Chieti, resulting in the death of a young Albanian man. The tragic accident occurred as a result of a tractor overturning.

The victim, Gentjan Muça, 31 years old, worked at an agricultural company and was traveling with a tractor in the Mandrini neighborhood when the tragic event occurred.

According to local media, the tractor he was working with overturned, crushing the aforementioned citizen.

Despite the rapid intervention of the rescue team, the 30-year-old could not survive. Muça was working on a local farm and was driving along a municipal road when, for unclear reasons, he lost control of the tractor, which overturned, ending up in a ditch and crushing him. 

The alarm was raised by a passerby. The Public Prosecution has opened an investigation to clarify the dynamics of the incident./CNA
