Operation in Tirana/ Attempted to sell firearms, 48-year-old arrested

Based on information provided about a case of possession of firearms with the intention of selling, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 finalized the operation codenamed "Barriera". 

During the operation, citizen LM, 48 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested. 

This citizen was stopped by the Police services on "Myslym Keta" street, Tufina, while he was driving his vehicle. 

From the checks in the vehicle, 3 firearms were found (2 pistols and 1 tactical combat weapon), which this citizen is suspected of possessing with the intention of selling in the "Fresku" and "Tufina" areas.

The firearms were seized as material evidence, along with 3 magazines of ammunition, the vehicle driven by citizen LM, and his cell phone. 

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigations are continuing to bring to criminal responsibility other citizens who may have been involved in this case./ CNA
