Internationally wanted for drug trafficking and criminal organization/

A 45-year-old man on the international wanted list was arrested today.

Col. Bushpepa alias Sokol Bushpepa, who was declared internationally wanted by Italy, has been arrested.

The Court of Appeal in Italy has sentenced the 45-year-old to 5.3 years in prison for drug trafficking and criminal organization.

His arrest was made with the aim of extradition to Italy.

 

 

Police notification

 

Successive operations by the Special Operations Force Directorate continue to capture internationally wanted persons.

The police operation codenamed "Operation 92" is finalized.

A citizen who is internationally wanted for criminal organization and drug trafficking is captured in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood and arrested, with the aim of extradition to Italy.

The structures of the Special Operations Force Directorate, within the Criminal Police Department, based on operational information, located and arrested citizen Kol Bushpepa alias Sokol Bushpepa, 45 years old, resident of Rrëshen.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Court of Appeal, Italy, sentenced him to 5 years, 3 months and 10 days, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Organization" and "Drug Trafficking". He has 4 years and 18 days of imprisonment left to serve.

Legal procedures for the extradition of this citizen are ongoing, in cooperation with the Italian justice authorities.
