Tragic accident in Durrës/ Vehicle hits three minors, two of them die

A serious road accident occurred today in neighborhood no. 15 in Durrës. According to reports, a vehicle that was moving at high speed hit three children who were playing.

Two of them have lost their lives, while the other is in serious condition. An ambulance and police have arrived at the scene, and the driver of the vehicle has been arrested. An official announcement from the police is awaited for further details.

At around 2:20 p.m., in neighborhood no. 15, in Durrës, a vehicle driven by citizen NR, about 57 years old, hit three minor children, about 10 years old.

As a result of the accident, two of the minors lost their lives, while the other minor is in serious condition and is being transported for more specialized assistance in Tirana.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further action.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident. / CNA
