Internationally wanted/ Member of the "Rraja" group arrested in Dubai

Following Operation "The Wanted", 3-year-old Bujar Sefa, who was internationally wanted for drug trafficking as part of the "Rraja" group, was arrested.

The 39-year-old has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates with the aim of his extradition to Albania.

Sefa is charged with cultivating and selling narcotics, as well as committing criminal offenses within a structured criminal group.

Sefa is a person who has been sentenced in the Italian state to 12.9 years in prison.

The operation codenamed "The Wanted" continues, 1 internationally wanted citizen is captured.

Accused of being the leader of a criminal group that cultivated narcotic plants in Krujë, the 39-year-old was captured in the United Arab Emirates and arrested with the aim of extradition to Albania.

As a result of the cooperation of the State Police structures with their counterparts, within the framework of the operation codenamed "The Wanted", it became possible to capture in the United Arab Emirates and arrest with the aim of extradition to Albania, the citizen:

-BS alias BX, 39 years old.

This citizen was declared wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 23.05.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Production and sale of narcotics", "Structured criminal group", "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Citizen BS alias BX is accused of being the leader of a criminal group, which in 2020 cultivated narcotic plants in the villages of the Cudhi administrative unit, Krujë. 

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Abu Dhabi are cooperating to carry out the extradition procedures of this citizen, in Albania. To be continued...
