3 "barber houses" discovered in Shkodra/ 4 OSHEE employees arrested,

Shkodra police have discovered an environment adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants with lamps.

As a result, 4 OSHEE employees were detained and a 35-year-old man was arrested, suspected of having adapted environments for cultivation.

A 36-year-old man has also been declared wanted. Officers have found and seized suspected cannabis plants, plant material, lamps, extractor fans and air filters.

The police operation codenamed "Neonët 8" is finalized. The number of cases of this criminal activity, targeted within the framework of the "Neonët" operation, reaches 13.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and a 36-year-old man has been declared wanted, who are suspected of having adapted 3 premises in the village of Boriç i Madh to cultivate narcotic plants with electrical equipment, which they supplied with illegal electricity connections.

4 more OSHEE employees are suspended and 1 other employee is being criminally prosecuted for abuse of office.

771 suspected cannabis plants, 6 kg and 250 grams of suspected cannabis plant material, 195 lamps, 21 extractor fans and 20 air filters used for their cultivation were seized.

Following the plan of measures to identify and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments, based on information obtained in operational ways, specialized structures at the Shkoder Police Department in cooperation with the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat and supported by the "Eagles" Special Forces, have carried out intensive controls in closed environments, with the aim of identifying and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps, drying and processing them for sale.

As a result, the police operation codenamed "Neonët 8" was organized and finalized.

During the operation, citizen KN, 35 years old, resident of the village of Bratosh, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and citizen AG, 36 years old, resident of the village of Vrakë, was declared wanted.

Following the operation, citizens VK, 27 years old, resident of the village of Breg Lumi; Xh. C., 24 years old, resident of Zagora; FM, 63 years old, resident of the village of Rashkullaj; and FK, 58 years old, resident of Shkodra, were also detained, and citizen AS, 57 years old, employee of OSHEE, was criminally prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", committed in collaboration.

During the operation, the Police discovered 3 premises (1 apartment and 2 stables) in the village of Boriç i Madh, which were adapted for the cultivation and drying of cannabis plants. From the checks in these premises, 771 suspected cannabis plants, 6 kg and 250 gr of suspected cannabis plant material, 195 lamps, 21 extractor hoods and 20 air filters, which were used for their cultivation, were found and seized as material evidence.

Intensive work continues to capture the 36-year-old wanted man and to fully document this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were passed on to the Shkodra Prosecution Office for further action.
