Checks on the coastline in Durrës/ 169 sets of umbrellas seized, 3

Controls continue on the coastline, following the police operation codenamed "Free Beach", with the aim of freeing up public spaces.        

Spaces on Currilave beach, Spille beach and Cape Rodonit, which were illegally occupied, are being freed up.        

169 sets of umbrellas and sun loungers are seized.    

3 citizens are being prosecuted.

The services of the Durrës and Kavajë Police Stations, within the framework of the "Free Beach" operation plan, have continued controls along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing up public spaces that are occupied without the relevant permit by entities on the coast, by placing umbrellas and sun loungers.           

During the checks, in three public spaces, on Currilave beach, on Spille beach and on Cape Rodoni, a total of 169 sets of umbrellas and sun loungers, which had been illegally placed by 3 citizens, were removed and seized.        

Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizens BD, 33 years old, NS, 59 years old, and AR, 44 years old, residents of Durrës and Tirana./CNA
