The Elbasan Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of AK, who was convicted in Belgium for "Practice of prostitution".

A two-story building, bar, restaurant and hotel in Cërrik owned by the AK has been confiscated.

It is suspected that his wealth derives from criminal activity in Belgium.

The Court of Appeal in Brussels sentenced her to 5 years in prison and a fine of 84 thousand euros for prostitution, along with several other Albanian citizens.

At the request of the Elbasan Prosecution Office, the property of the hotel, bar and restaurant of citizen AK, convicted in Belgium for 'Practice of prostitution', is confiscated

 

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Elbasan, the property of citizen AK, convicted in Brussels, Belgium for the criminal offense of 'Practice of prostitution', was confiscated.

 

In the framework of the investigations into property proceedings no. 11 of 2020, the prosecution requested the confiscation of a 2-story building, bar and restaurant and hotel owned by citizen AK in cadastral area no. 2559 in Malasej, Cërrik after proving that the citizen in question does not justify the assets established over the years with income. The prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Elbasan requested the confiscation as it suspects that the assets of citizen AK derive from his criminal activity in Belgium.

 

This citizen was convicted by a final decision by the Court of Appeal in Brussels for prostitution and was sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of 84 thousand euros, along with several other Albanian citizens.

 

Investigations continue for the other persons, who were convicted along with citizen AK in Belgium.
