Four Albanians in handcuffs/ Caught red-handed trafficking drugs in Italy

Four Albanians aged between 24 and 38 ended up under arrest by Italian police after they were caught red-handed trafficking cocaine weighing a total of 1,140 kg.

Initially, three Albanians were spotted in their car by the Director of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue in the "Mugnano" neighborhood.

The latter decided to follow the Albanians' car on a motorbike and notified the police. From the surveillance, it was determined that the Albanians were trafficking cocaine when they stopped near a railway line.

At that moment, another car approached them to exchange the quantity of drugs. When the Italian authorities noticed them, the Albanians tried to throw the drugs on the ground, but the bags did not escape the police.

After the intervention and arrest of the four Albanians, the police also seized 4,000 euros. /CNA
