The Fier Prosecution Office has completed the investigations into the murder in Mallakastra in 2022, for the 3 citizens who committed this event, the Prosecution Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has requested their trial.

The incident occurred in November 2022, where elderly Caush Shehaj was robbed and murdered.

The three defendants, citizens MG, EH and F.Ç., will be tried for the criminal offenses "Theft resulting in death" committed in collaboration" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

"The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, completed the investigations and sent to trial the three defendants, citizens MG, EH and F.Ç., for the criminal offenses of "Theft resulting in death" committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 141 of the Criminal Code and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" provided for by Article 278 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigations conducted in cooperation with the Local Police Directorate within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1394/2022, it was possible to prove that, on 19.11.2022, at around 02:00, in the village of Klos, Mallakastër Municipality, citizens MG, EH, F.Ç. in collaboration with each other, robbed the apartment of citizen C. Sh. with a weapon, whom they also physically raped. As a result of the injuries sustained to the face and body, citizen C. Sh. died.
At the end of the investigation, the prosecution has also drafted a request to send the case to court against the defendants MG, EH, F.Ç. for the criminal offense of “Theft resulting in death” committed in collaboration, provided for by Article 141 of the Criminal Code and “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition” provided for by Article 278, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
