The young man hits the old man, ends up in the hospital

A recent event in the city of Këlcyra.

An 87-year-old man was hit by a vehicle. The incident happened a few minutes ago on the Këlcyre-Përmet axis in the place called Ura e Këlcyre near the center of this city.

The author of this accident is a young man who seems to have been driving inside the yellow lines of the city at a speed above the permitted rates. The elderly man was hit by the vehicle driven by the 32-year-old SL from Përmeti, while he did not leave the scene but notified the police to come.

The elderly man was slightly injured while he was urgently sent to the Përmet Hospital for medical assistance. The police are at the scene to investigate the causes of this accident, while traffic is blocked on both sides of the road, creating chaos on the Këlcyre-Përmet axis and causing queues for kilometers./ CNA
