The police of Elbasan have arrested the 33-year-old man with the initials KM, who is accused of embezzling 1,500,000 lek that he withdrew from his brother's bank account, with the card he obtained through fraud. 

The 33-year-old committed the acts in June, with the card he had obtained from their mother through fraud.

Police Notification:

He embezzled 1,500,000 lek that he withdrew from his brother's bank account, with the card that he secured through fraud, the 33-year-old is identified, caught and put in handcuffs.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, as a result of the intensive investigative actions carried out at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, immediately after the administration of a report filed on 01.07.2024, for a case of fraud, they have finalized the coded police operation "Cash".

In the framework of this operation, the citizen KM, 33 years old, resident of Elbasan, was identified, arrested and detained.

On 17.07.2024, the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan has issued a restraining order for this citizen, as it is suspected that during the month of June 2024, he withdrew the amount of 1,500,000 ALL from his brother's bank account, with the card he had taken from his mother theirs, by means of fraud.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Fraud", with serious consequences./ CNA
