The abuse of minors in Maliq/Motra gives shocking testimony to the CNA

Yesterday, a serious case of sexual abuse was discovered in the village of Sheqeras in Maliqi.

44-year-old Edison Sheme had been abusing his friend's minor daughter, who is now 16 years old, for 4 years.

In an interview with CNA, the minor's sister gave testimony and shocking details.

She stated for CNA that she learned about the sexual abuse of her uterus in 2021 from several letters written by the author.

The young woman confessed that she did not tell anything because she thought the abuse had stopped, as her sister did not talk about the matter.

"I learned about my sister's incident from some letters that he wrote to my sister. It said that they had sex, how they met together, and some other things. I remember that I learned about this story around 2021. In that I was shocked, I couldn't believe it. I was reading the letter and I didn't know what to do. To tell you the truth, there were a lot of things written there, but it said that after you turn 18, I will marry you. and we will live together. It's not that I kept it that long, I thought it was just closed, I was looking at it that they weren't meeting, they weren't talking and I thought it was closed as a thing.

Then, only one day when my father says to me "Look, I was told by the village", I thought that the situation is very bad and ...

He used to be my father's friend and used to come here to the stable, besides he used to come to get milk from time to time. All the papers were taken by the prosecution, this is the only evidence we have and the other evidence has nowhere to go, because he escaped. It shows very clearly that I have done this deed and left. That if he hadn't done it, he would have remained a man and faced it," she said.

With tears in her eyes, she explains that the condition of her sister and her family is very serious.

"My sister is very bad, all of us as a family are very bad. The psychologist came and talked to the sister and she feels that she still needs her. The sister did not tell me anything about where they met, because he told her not to tell nobody. I only found out about this from the statement my sister gave to the police," said the young woman.

When asked if they feel threatened by the perpetrator who is still at large, the 16-year-old's sister answered that she and her parents are not afraid, but she did not say the same about her sister.

"Me, mom, dad not because we know that the police will catch him and justice will be done but my sister is very afraid. She looks from all four sides because she says 'I'm worried that he won't come.'
