The car breaks into pieces/ One victim and one injured in Korça

New details have come to light from the accident on the "Korçë-Pogradec" road axis, near the village of Bulgarec.

The Blues inform that one of the drivers was killed in the collision between the car and the truck.

One of the passengers in the car was also injured. The victim has been identified as a citizen with the initials KN, while the injured person with the initials E. Dh.

According to preliminary information, the causes of the accident are still unknown, while the Blues have started investigations.

"Around 5:05 p.m., on the "Korçë-Pogradec" road axis, near the village of Bulgarec, a truck driven by citizen KN collided with a "Chevrolet" type vehicle.

As a result of the collision, citizen KN, about 35 years old, the driver of the "Chevrolet" type vehicle, died, and the passenger in this vehicle, citizen E. Dh., who is in the hospital under the care of doctors, was injured.

The investigative group is at the scene to find out the circumstances and the cause of the accident," said the police announcement. / CNA
