The Services of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, after the information provided by the police intelligence, that at the airport of Rinas, at the entrance of the Republic of Slovenia, some citizens who had contraband goods in their luggage would appear, immediately organized work and in cooperation with the Directorate of Customs Investigation in the Operative-Investigative Department in the General Directorate of Customs and the Rinas Border Police Commissariat, have finalized the operation coded police "Transit".

During the operation, Kosovar citizens BZ, 45 years old, FZ, 34 years old, AI, 23 years old, AG, 20 years old, AM, 21 years old, were arrested in the act.

From the control exercised in 14 suitcases (luggage of the arrested), 1,057,840 suspected smuggled tablets (medicines) were found, weighing 417.1 kg, which are suspected to be used as preparations for the preparation of narcotics.

During the physical check on the BZ citizen, the Police services found 300,000 euros, which he had not declared at the border.

From the verifications carried out, it is suspected that the 5 arrested would bring drugs bought in Jordan into Albania and then into Kosovo.
