The Supreme Court upholds the sentence/ The former Greek officer, in life
Former Greek special forces operative, Ethimious Efthimiou

The former operative of the Greek special forces, Ethimious Efthimiou, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Supreme Court.

This court did not accept Efthimiou's appeal, upholding the sentence.

The former Greek officer was found guilty of the murder of Devi Kasmi, an event that occurred on January 29, 2018. The judging panel also upheld the decision for Elton Halipajn, who will serve 33 years in prison, as he allegedly provided the Greek citizen with all the means to carry out the execution.

Ethimious Efthimiou has denied in all three stages of the trial that he had anything to do with the serious crime, stating that he had come to our country to hunt. But the prosecutor's office has always claimed the opposite based on the film footage of the event. After the execution of Devi Kasmi, who also had the nickname "Blind fun", the perpetrator was met by a white van a few meters away from the scene and then they quickly left.

SPAK in the final conclusions claimed that Ethimious Efthimiou committed the murder, in exchange for a reward, as he was commissioned by a criminal group.

Aurel Hoxallari is suspected of ordering the murder of Kasmi, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in absentia, as he has been on the run for years. Devi Kasmi was in conflict with Domart Konjarit, another well-known character involved in cocaine trafficking./ CNA
