A suspicious suitcase raised the Gjirokastra police this evening.

Blue informs that around 7:20 p.m. they were notified of a suspicious suitcase near a bus station in the "18 Shtatori" neighborhood.

But after carrying out the procedures, it was noticed that the suitcase was carrying personal belongings of a citizen who had forgotten it at the station. Thus, the alarm turned out to be false.

"Around 19:20, in the neighborhood "18 Shtatori", Gjirokastër, near a bus station, 1 suitcase was found.

Immediately, the Police services went to the scene, which performed all the standard verification procedures, and it turned out that there were personal belongings of a citizen in the suitcase.

The citizen who had forgotten the suitcase at the bus station, returned after a few minutes and took it," the police announcement states./ CNA.al
