A 25-year-old woman was injured with a couple in the area known as Patos village.

From preliminary information, it is reported that the young woman was accidentally injured by her grandfather.

It is suspected that the girl's grandfather was cleaning a couple type firearm, when the latter was accidentally fired.

The 25-year-old woman was immediately sent for medical help to the Fier hospital and her life is out of danger.

The full circumstances of the incident are still unknown, meanwhile the police have started investigations to shed more light on the injury.

"Today, around 15:40, in Patos Village, according to preliminary data, it is suspected that while cleaning the couple, citizen AM, 82 years old, injured his granddaughter, citizen AS, 25 years old, who is in the hospital under the care of doctors, out of danger to life.
