Muçi Shaljani is the person who was seriously injured in the attack that occurred today at the Rinas roundabout.

Shaljani, also known by the nickname "Sheqeri", was involved in a physical conflict with the then Socialist MP, Saimir Tahiri, 14 years ago. Shaljani's brother was also part of the conflict, which took place about 20 meters from the Ministry of Interior.

According to reports, Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri) had been employed as an AMP agent for three months. He was a friend of Dani and had returned from Barcelona today with the victim, Gilmando Dani, a passenger in the vehicle.

The car in which Shaljani and Dani were travelling was hit by a hail of bullets. One of the bullets hit the AMP employee in the head. He is in critical condition at the Trauma Hospital. /CNA
