"The injured person, an AMP employee"/ Qyno: The second case where

Journalist Elton Qyno, invited to Syri TV, has revealed details regarding the identity of Muçi Shaljani, who was injured in the Rinas assassination attempt.

Qyno said that Shajiani was the driver of the victim Gilmando Dani and at the same time an employee of the Police Supervision Agency.

The journalist said that we are once again facing a case where a Police officer is involved in criminal activity or in support of the perpetrator of the crime after the case of Jeton Lami, who was also a police officer and Ervis Martinaj's driver.

"The driver of Gilmando Dani who was injured today, Muçi Shaljani, is an employee of the Police Supervision Agency, which is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. So, we are dealing with a character who also held a public function, at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and on the other hand was also the driver of a high-ranking exponent of organized crime in Albania, such as Gilmando Dani. I emphasize this because in many cases we have had exponents of the state police involved in criminal activities or as supporters of elements of criminal groups.

The case that caused a lot of fuss was the case of Jeton Lami, who worked both as a police officer in the operational team of the State Police but also as the driver of Ervis Martini and we come to a second moment today when another police officer serves as the driver of a high-ranking exponent of organized crime in Albania. I say high-ranking exponent because I see that not only from the number of assassination attempts that Gilmando Dani has received and that he has escaped, but also in terms of his intensity in committing criminal acts within criminal groups, such as Emiliano Shullazi's group to which he adhered", said Qyno./ CNA
