Intentionally burned a vehicle worth around 100 thousand euros/ 39-year-old man

A 39-year-old man was arrested after intentionally burning the vehicle of a 44-year-old man in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Citizen E. Sh. burned an “Audi” car, owned by citizen JC.

The incident occurred on "Memo Meto" street, for weak motives.

During the police operation "Price", the clothing worn by the 39-year-old when he committed the crime was seized as material evidence.

Announcement:

Immediately after the announcement that at around 03:30, on 09.12.2025, on "Memo Meto" street, an "Audi" vehicle owned by citizen JC, 44 years old, had been burned, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the work to identify and bring to criminal responsibility the perpetrator(s) of the case, as well as to clarify the circumstances.

As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, carried out within the framework of Operation "Price", within a few hours, the suspected perpetrator of the case, citizen E. Sh., 39 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified and arrested, who is suspected of having committed this crime for weak motives.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
