In relation to a video published in the media, in which a citizen is shown physically violence against another citizen, in the corridor of a building, and after the verifications it turned out that the citizen who has committed violence is a police officer in the Korçë Local Police Directorate , we clarify that:

The Director of the Korca Local Police Department has immediately suspended the police officer, deputy commissioner Gj. R., with specialist duty in the Sector of Strategic Analysis, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, in DVP Korçë. 

Ndërkohë, Drejtori i Përgjithshëm i Policisë së Shtetit ka urdhëruar Drejtorinë e Standardeve Profesionale në Policinë e Shtetit, për nisjen e menjëhershme të hetimit disiplinor, për këtë punonjës policie, për shkelje të rëndë. 

Nga verifikimet paraprake rezulton se ngjarja ka ndodhur në korridorin e një pallati, në Pogradec, gjatë muajit janar të këtij viti, për shkak se shtetasi i dhunuar K. N. dyshohej se më datë 22.01.2023, gjatë natës,  kishte tentuar të digjte klinikën e bashkëshortes së punonjësit të Policisë Gj. R.

Po nga verifikimet rezulton se shtetasi K. N., 35 vjeç, banues në Pogradec, është arrestuar më datë 07.02.2023, në kuadër të operacionit policor antidrogë të koduar “Pasagjeri”, për veprimtarinë kriminale të shitjes së drogave të forta.
