Details from the murder in the private asylum in Tirana

New details have emerged from the murder that happened in the early hours of Thursday morning in a private asylum for the elderly in Tirana. 

The 78-year-old identified as Zyhdi Shehi, hit his roommate several times with an iron cane after a momentary quarrel, causing his immediate death. 

The victim was Virxil Vesho, 82 years old, after blows and trauma to the head.

The debate between the two seniors was banal. It is learned that the author accused his friend "why he occupied his bed". According to representatives of the private asylum, both elderly people suffered from sclerosis.

The investigative group has started investigations into the serious incident and interrogated the arrested author, collected the testimonies and the footage of the security cameras./ CNA
