Murder in a private asylum in Tirana

A serious incident happened in a private asylum for the elderly in Tirana.

The police informs that Mr. Sh., 78 years old, hit his roommate, citizen VV, 82 years old, several times with a cane, who died as a result of the injuries he received. 

The 78-year-old is charged with "intentional murder". 

Police notification:

Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Tirana DVP in cooperation with the Police Station No. 1, arrested the citizen Mr. Sh., 78 years old, a resident of a private asylum for the elderly, for the criminal offense of "Deliberate murder", provided for by Article 76 of the Criminal Code.

This citizen is suspected that, today, 08.08.2024, around the early hours of the morning, for weak motives, he hit his roommate, citizen VV, 82 years old, several times with a cane (iron stick). who died as a result of the injuries he received. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
