Weekly police report/ 39 drivers are arrested, more than 23 thousand fines are

During this week, the Traffic Police has increased its presence by using the intelligent tools and the logistic base at its disposal.

Monitoring has been carried out on all road axes, using intelligent Polish vehicles, automatic radars, high-quality drones and draggers.

As a result, 39 vehicle drivers were arrested in one week, for driving while intoxicated and for driving without a driving license.

1,456 vehicle drivers who were traveling at a speed of 40 to 100 km per hour over the permitted rate were identified through radars and police scanners.

Drivers have been penalized with double the maximum administrative fine and a deduction of 3 to 8 points from their Driving Permit.

Also, 23,414 administrative measures have been imposed throughout the country, of which:

5678 for speeding beyond the permitted rates, with additional sanctions.

1123 for using a mobile phone while driving;

1235 for not using the seat belt;

2134 for wrong passings;

215 for not wearing a protective helmet;

98 for dangerous maneuvers on the road;

267 for driving under the influence of alcohol;

9875 for wrong parking;

2789 for other violations of the Traffic Code.
