Accused of drug trafficking and violent theft/ The most wanted man was captured

The Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Department of the Criminal Police in the DPPSh finalizes another operation for the capture of citizens announced as international wanted. 

During the coded operation "Operation 20", a 41-year-old (Albanian citizen) wanted by the Italian authorities was captured in Laç and arrested with the intention of extradition.     

This citizen is accused by the Court of Florence, as a member of a criminal organization for drug trafficking and theft and violence.  

On the basis of the information provided by the police intelligence, regarding the location of a citizen declared internationally wanted, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force organized the police operation coded "Operationalja 20", during which he was captured in the village of Gjormë, Laç, and put in handcuffs for the purpose of extradition, citizen AM, 41 years old, resident in the village of Gjormë. 

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Appeal of Florence has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Criminal organization", "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Theft with violence", provided by the Code Penalty of Italy. 

Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, to extradite this citizen to Italy./ CNA
