Contraband cosmetic products are seized in Tirana/ Checks in 30 aesthetic centers

The Department of Economic Crime in the General Directorate of the State Police has exercised control in 30 aesthetic centers in Tirana for the trafficking of contraband goods.
The decision was given by the Tirana Court, where so far it is known that 3 people have been arrested, 3 have been declared wanted and 6 others are being investigated at large.
According to the sources, a significant amount of smuggled cosmetic products was found.
Even earlier, CNA has denounced the smuggling of cosmetic products.
We remind you that on July 21, 2024, the Police seized about 3,000 contraband products in the subject "Global Cosmetics & Distribution".
During the police action, the administrators of the company "Global Cosmetics & Distribution", Tea Karanxha and Ergys Mezini, were announced as wanted.
At that time, CNA raised the alarm about the illegal trade in cosmetic goods.
This is because the smuggled products may be out of date or with forged codes and this endangers the health of citizens./ CNA
