The Police Supervision Agency has arrested a wanted police officer in Tirana.

It is about the Inspector with the initials BT, 39 years old. He was declared wanted on June 4, as he is suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Abuse of duty" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

The personal security measure "Arrest in prison" has been imposed on him by the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.

The appointment of personal security measures against police officers was made possible as a result of several months of investigations conducted under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, also applying special methods of investigation, through which provided evidence and facts about their involvement in criminal activity./ CNA
