The police officer in Tirana is arrested / The charges against him

The Police Supervision Agency has arrested a police officer in the act, suspected of "Abuse of duty" and "Passive corruption".

It is about the police officer, Deputy Commissioner KP, 35 years old, with the duty of Specialist for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Station No. 4 Tirana.

His arrest became possible after the conducted investigation, evidence and facts were administered that this police officer, using the organic function and attributes of the judicial police, requested and received the monetary amount of 50,000 ALL, promising to avoid criminal liability to a citizen, who a few days ago was reported by another citizen for threats.

At the end of the actions, the amount of 50 thousand ALL, a Hyundai vehicle, a mobile phone and other documents related to the event were seized as material evidence.
