Anti-drug operation in Korça/ 34-year-old in handcuffs, another person under investigation

An action organized by the Korça Police structures has led to the crackdown on another case of drug distribution in the city, ending with the arrest of a 34-year-old man and the release of a 23-year-old man.

During yesterday evening's checks, a small amount of suspected cannabis was found on a 23-year-old man. Following this incident, investigations continued and a 34-year-old man was arrested, as he is suspected of being the person from whom the 23-year-old obtained the narcotics.

According to the data, a quantity of more than 30 doses of cannabis prepared for sale was found in the 34-year-old's apartment.

The materials have been referred to the Korça Prosecutor's Office for further legal procedures, while police investigations continue to identify other accomplices and fully document the suspected criminal activity./ CNA
