A concern in Korça are cases of domestic violence.

Just today, the police reported 3 cases of domestic violence, for which they received reports from the citizens themselves.

For these cases, one person was arrested and two others were prosecuted while free.

Specifically, a citizen with the initials EL, 41 years old, resident in Korça, was put in handcuffs, as he is suspected of having physically and psychologically abused his mother.

The Blues have criminally prosecuted the citizen with the initials ZB, 66 years old, resident of Pogradec, for psychological violence against his wife.

Likewise, the 51-year-old AI, a resident of the village of Pojan in Maliqi, was prosecuted for physical violence against his sister, for which a request-lawsuit was filed for the issuance of an immediate protection order./ CNA.al
