Murder at a campsite in Greece/ 2 victims, including 1 Albanian

A serious incident has shaken the Finikounda area in Messinia, Greece, on Sunday evening. Two men were found dead at a campsite in the area.

Initial information indicates that a man, the owner of the campsite and a local resident, approximately 70 years old, was found dead at the reception.

It is reported that the owner of the campsite is an Albanian citizen. 

A few meters away, the campsite caretaker, a friend of the owner, was also found dead, apparently trying to escape.

Initial indications indicate that the two men were killed by gunfire.

Kalamata police are at the scene and are expected to immediately begin investigations to identify the perpetrators and solve the case. /CNA
