Saranda assassination attempt/ 800 grams of TNT were used for the explosion,

New details revealed about Saturday evening's assassination attempt in Saranda against citizen IJ

Experts in the field, through their analysis of the incident, have determined that 800 grams of TNT was used to explode the car.

So far, the police have escorted 10 people and questioned several residents of neighborhood no. 3 in Saranda.

It is also learned that controls on the case are also being carried out in Tirana.

Police statement on the incident:

At around 22:50, in neighborhood no. 3, Saranda, it is suspected that a quantity of explosive material placed in a Toyota vehicle, owned by citizen IJ, exploded.

This citizen is suspected to be the person inside the vehicle who lost his life as a result of the explosion.

The investigation team is at the scene and is continuing its work to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, and document it legally. /CNA
