The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has declared three days of national mourning for the 36 victims of the railway accident in Larissa, Greece.
His decision takes effect today from March 1 to March 3, when flags will be flown at half-mast in all public buildings.
Greek media reports that 32 people died and 85 others were injured from the collision of two trains.
Among the injured there were also children aged 6-7 years old and 53 of them are receiving medical help in the hospital, while 32 others have escaped without much damage./CNA.al
