The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has spoken about the tense situation that has been created in the north of the country.
In an interview with the German magazine "Der Spiegel" , Kurti said that the tensions in the north have come as a result of the panic that Belgrade is causing.
Kurti stated that the European Union and the United States of America are pressuring Serbia to choose between "the West and Russia".
"The EU and the US are putting great pressure on Serbia to choose between the democratic West and Russia," Kurti said.
Among other things, Kurti also spoke about Serbia's request for the return of 1,000 Serbian soldiers to Kosovo.
"It seems that Vu?i? wants to return Serbia to the past. But this train has left. The International Court of Justice has ruled in favor of our declaration of independence. There is no higher court on this planet", said Kurti./ CNA.al
